Apply pepper, lemon juice, turmeric powder and salt and keep for an hour.

Wash the fish and cut into medium size pieces.

Shallow fry the fish and keep it aside.

Take a deep frying pan and put 2-3 tablespoon of coconut oil.

Once the oil is hot, put the cinnamon stick, cardamon and cloves.

Then put the sliced onions, garlic, ginger into the oil.

Fry it till it is translucent.

Take coconut milk powder and mix with warm water. It should be thin coconut milk. Put it into the pan. Allow it to boil.

Then put the fried fish into the pan.

Put turmeric powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and curry leaves.

Next cut the tomato into long slices and put into the pan. Close with lid and let it boil.

Next squeeze one lemon juice and put into the curry.

Last make thick coconut milk and add into the pan. Do not allow it to boil for more than 2-3 minutes.

Serve with appam.
