Ingredients

2-3 servings
  • 1/2 cupChana dal / bengal gram
  • 1/2 cupgrated coconut
  • 1 cupjaggery
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1/2 tspCardamom powder
  • 1 cuprice flour
  • as neededSesame oil
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare a dough first take 1.5 cup of water make it boil add salt and sesame oil in it when it become to oil add rice flour to it and mix it well.now take it out into another plate let it cool

  2. 2

    Soak chana dal for 2-3 hours and now pressure cook it.if water left there strain it and mash the chana dal very well

  3. 3

    Now make a stuffing mixture boil a cup of water add jaggery into it now add cardamom powder to it and grated coconut,make a good consistency add chana dal now combine it well. Take the mixture out.let it cool

  4. 4

    Now take the rice dough make balls of it fill in bewteen the chana dal mixture and give it a shape whatever you want.

  5. 5

    Now steam it into a pressure cooker or in a kadhai for 10 minutes.and your sweet khozukattai is ready to serve
