Salmon Sashimi with Avocado Dip Salmon Sashimi with Avocado Dip
This is a modification of"Oil Steamed Fish With Avocado Dip". I learned the avocado dip by user "Nanmaru".I recommend seasoning the salmon well with salt! It goes really well with white wine. You can omit the lemon juice, but the avocado dip will change colour quickly! On the other hand, if you get lemon juice or vinegar on the raw salmon, the salmon will turn whitish, so watch out. Salmon & Avocado Tartare Salmon & Avocado Tartare
I wanted to make something to serve guests, so I made this with the ingredients that were in the fridge. The recipe calls for lots of lemon juice - just lessen the amount if you want to make it less sour, or if the avocado paste is too soft. You can also avoid the avocado from discoloring by adding lemon juice. There's no need to use salt or dark soy sauce if you're using smoked salmon. For 4 to 5 servings. Recipe by Ayatan cookpad.japan -

Ikura Salmon Roe Oyakodon Ikura Salmon Roe Oyakodon
This is a recreation of a dish that I ate when I moved to Hokkaido for work. The ikura marinated in soy sauce will come in handy if you make lots and store in the freezer in a sterilized jar.Step 2 Use fresh salmon (autumn salmon) if possible. Sprinkle with salt, let rest for 20 minutes, then sauté or grill. This rice bowl is also great with dashi soy sauce.. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -
Summer Salmon Summer Salmon
At the market, the tomatoes are starting to look pretty good, so I picked up a few. I was in the mood for salmon and got a small tail-end fillet chunk. The salmon set me thinking that dill might work with tomatoes. I'm not sure why I thought to brown the butter, but it makes sense in hindsight. There was an element missing, so I found some Greek yogurt in the fridge and added dill, but it was lacking. Tried salt and pepper. There was a definite improvement, but not quite there. A touch of horseradish sealed the deal. It made sense to use the, "tomato story," bowl I got at Daiso, a Japanese dollar store near my house. Pretty satisfied with the results overall. I'd put it on a menu. Ryan Goodwin
