Ingredients

  1. 1 cupChana Daal (lentils) soaked in water for 6 hours
  2. 1small onion chopped
  3. 1green chilli chopped
  4. 3 tbspcilantro chopped
  5. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  6. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  7. 1 tspred chilli flakes
  8. 3/4 tspsalt or to taste
  9. 1 tspcumin seeds
  10. 1 tsproasted crushed coriander
  11. 1 tspchaat masala

Cooking Instructions

    Grind Chanay Ki daal in a food processor by adding about 1/4 cup water or as much required to make a coarse batter.

    Transfer to a bowl and mix in the rest of the ingredients.

    Using wet hands make circular shaped patties smaller than kebabs.

  4. 4

    Deep fry them in oil till they turn golden on each side.

  5. 5

    Serve with tamarind sauce.
