In our area, we prefer savory items out of the dal and Dal Vada is one of them. The Vadas made from this dal is superbly delicious due to their unique flavor and taste.

Cooking Instructions

Wash and soak rahari dal for 4 hours. Take the soaked dal, garlic, and dry chili in a grinder jar and grind coarsely with a little water. Keep covered and set aside for an hour to ferment.

Heat the oil for deep frying. Add the rest of the ingredients to dal paste, mix well.

Make dal vadas and deep fry both sides on low to medium heat.

The hot and delicious dal vadas are ready to serve with sauce and salad.
