Chicken Breast Karaage (Deep Fried Chicken)

I made healthy deep-fried chicken karaage using chicken breasts.

Use as much garlic and ginger as you want. I use grated garlic and ginger from a tube. You can also use chicken thigh meat.
I also tried grating an onion to the marinade, then deep-fried the chicken. It came out pretty yummy. Recipe by Chisanchi

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 kgChicken breast meat
  2. 1/2☆Grated onion
  3. 3 tbsp☆Soy sauce
  4. 3 tbsp☆Sake
  5. 1 tsp☆Sugar
  6. 1 tsp☆Sesame oil
  7. 1☆Ginger (to taste)
  8. 1☆Garlic (to taste)
  9. 1 dash☆Salt and pepper
  10. 1 tbsp★Katakuriko
  11. 1Blend of white flour and katakuriko (1:1 ratio)

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the chicken breasts into large bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Combine the meat and ☆ ingredients, then sprinkle in the ★ katakuriko. Let rest for 2 hours.

  3. 3

    Right before deep-frying, coat each piece of chicken with flour and katakuriko combined in a 1:1 ratio.
