Ingredients

  1. 1& 1/2 cup shaped pasta of choice (I used rigatoni)
  2. 2 Tbspbutter
  3. 2 cupsmushroom slices
  4. 1 tspminced garlic
  5. 1 tsplemon juice
  6. 1 cupmilk
  7. 2 Tbspcornflour
  8. 1& 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  9. Salt and pepper to taste

    Gather ingredients

    Cook pasta according to package instructions and drain.

    Preheat oven to 180C while you make the creamy mushroom

  4. 4

    Heat and melt butter then add the mushrooms to cook until their liquid evaporates and they turn golden. Add garlic, lemon juice and seasoning. Stir and reduce heat to medium

    Whisk together milk and cornflour then pour this mixture into the mushrooms. Cook frequently stirring until the sauce starts to thicken (about 3 minutes). Add 1 cup of cheese and stir until melted

    Mix in the cooked pasta and transfer mixture into a baking pan. Sprinkle the top with the remaining half cup of cheese

    Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese melts and the top looks golden
