This is a simple recipe for the famous Thai dish at home. Minced chicken is usually used.

This is a simple recipe for the famous Thai dish at home. Minced chicken is usually used.
Cooking Instructions

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Dice the bell peppers.

In a frying pan, fry 1 tbsp sesame oil, garlic and Chinese Chili Bean Sauce.

When fragrant, add the onions and fry.
When the onions are slightly cooked, add the minced meat.
When the minced meat is almost cooked, add the bell peppers and stir-fry. - 4
When the paprika is almost cooked, add the seasoning and fry lightly, turn off the heat and add the torn basil leaves. Season with salt and pepper.

Arrange the cooked rice and the contents of the pan on a plate.

Fry the fried egg in the pan in which you were frying the meat, place it on the plate and sprinkle a little pepper on top! Serve hot!!!

Try them because they are tasty in the different way from Japanese rice.You may use ground chicken, but chopped chicken thigh would be tastier because it is flavourful with nicer texture. In Thailand, holy basil (Thai basil) is used for this dish, but you can use sweet basil instead. If possible, add kaffir lime leaves so the dish will have a more authentic taste. I think this is my favorite Thai-style "mix-it-up rice" dish. No matter how often I have it, I want to have it again. I used to eat this at Thai restaurants in Japan too, but it's expensive! So I started making it myself... In Thailand you would use Thai holy basil, but in Japan you have to go to a Thai grocery store to get it, so I started using sweet basil instead. Now I kind of prefer it over holy basil. This is now my standard recipe.You can also chop up a block of chicken thigh meat. If you prefer a lighter taste, use chicken breast meat. I used sirloin because I was strapped on cash, but filet mignon would work *beautifully* for this recipe. The sirloin was still absolutely delicious! It can be cooked to your desired temperature.
