  1. 2 cupswhole wheat flour
  2. As neededwater
  3. 1 tspsalt(optional)
  4. 2 tspDesi ghee

    In a bowl add the flour, and oil and knead into a soft dough using little water at a time. Keep it aside for 10 mins. Divide into equal portions. Keep it covered. Take one portion and roll out in thin roti using little flour.

    Heat a tawa on high flame, when hot place the roti gently on it. Cook it till small blisters appear on the surface. Flip the roti and cook it for a few seconds. Then flip it again and cook till it puffs up. Repeat with the remaining dough portions to make the rotis. You can apply ghee to the roti.

    Serve hot with curry or dal and salad.
