Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a small bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Set aside.
- 2
Thinly slice steak. Partially freezing the steak will make it easier to slice thinly. I usually use a chuck flatiron steak, but have also used a round steak or sirloin steak. Use whatever you prefer.
- 3
Clean and stem the sugar snap peas. You can use snow peas if you prefer.
- 4
Heat oil in wok or skillet over medium high heat. Stir-fry ginger and garlic for 30 seconds. Add the steak and stir-fry 2-3 minutes or until evenly browned. Add the sugar snap peas and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- 5
Add the soy sauce mixture and bring to boil stirring constantly. Lower heat and simmer until sauce is slightly thickened.
- 6
Serve immediately over brown or white rice

New Potato, Sugar Snap Pea and Beef Stir Fry New Potato, Sugar Snap Pea and Beef Stir Fry
I made a rich tasting stir fry flavored with oyster sauce, using vegetables we grow ourselves.Don't soak the cut potatoes in water since the starch will thicken the stir fry sauce. Don't turn over the potatoes until they are crispy (about 3 minutes). The sauce is pretty salty so add it gradually while tasting and adjust. Recipe by commeline cookpad.japan -
Stir-Fried Sugar Snap Peas With My Secret Sauce Stir-Fried Sugar Snap Peas With My Secret Sauce
It's a stir-fry made with my homemade sauce, "My Secret Sauce". You can add some meat for extra bulk. You can use this sauce for anything. It comes in handy for busy days if you have it in stock. If the sugar snap peas seem hard when you are cooking them during Step 3, cover with a lid, and check them occasionally. I think it tastes better when you don't cook them for too long. Stir-frying them over high heat for the whole recipe is the key to keeping its nice color and crispy texture. I won a draw to become a recipe tester for Ajinomoto soup stock.Cover with plastic wrap when microwaving. New potatoes can be eaten with the skins on. You can cook them whole (until a bamboo skewer goes through one easily) then cut them. If you cut them before cooking them, the skins will come off. Let them cool down a bit before cutting. Don't burn yourself. (I used a 500 W microwave.) Recipe by Shampoo hat cookpad.japan -

Stir-fried with oyster sauce and Shaoxing wine taste, everything easily becomes Chinese style cooking. When the main dish is meat, we try to have plenty of vegetables. Normally, I make this dish with french beans, but I used asparagus as I was given lots of it.Don't over-cook the asparagus to keep the crisp texture. You could also use beef offcuts.
