My Mom has always made the best Banana Bread since I was a kid. I added a secret ingredient and made it the last time she visited. When your Mom says OMG this is better than mine! It must be good!

Ingredients

  1. 3med to lg over-ripe bananas
  2. 1 1/2 cupsflour
  3. 1/4 cupvegetable oil
  4. 1egg
  5. 3/4 cupssugar
  6. 1 tbsground cinnamon
  7. 1 1/2 tspbaking powder
  8. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  9. 4whole shelled walnuts, crushed

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350° and grease loaf baking dish

  2. 2

    Peel bananas and place in large mixing bowl. Mash bananas using a fork until smooth.

    Add remaining ingredients and whisk together until well-combined

  4. 4

    Spoon into greased baking dish and place in oven for 50-55 minutes.

    Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes in baking dish.

    Using a butter knife, run the knife along all sides to loosen from baking dish. Turn dish upside down on a cooling rack and let cool for at least 20 minutes.

Its the cinnamon. Not so secret but I am a huge cinnamon fan so I figured it would go nicely with bananas. It does.
