Based off ¨Bobbie´s Oatmeal Cookies¨ on Allrecipes.com. I was seeking a spicer version and am not a fan of raisins. These turned out perfect!

It's a family friend's recipe. Not sure why they're called Ethiopian cookies lol... P. S. I made it for a celebration and people thought it was legit from a bakery. That's how good it was! 💁‍♀️😂

So after venturing on that keto diet for a few weeks, I have officially cut out the sugar in my diet (for now). I was craving chocolate chip cookies and came up with this recipe. Surprisingly this came out pretty good and you'd think it had sugar in it.

Now this is not an original recipe but I had to share it. These cookies came out wonderfully soft and tasty. Perfect for a holiday party.

My youngest son , school teacher had made this an assignment for earth week.... had the options to make them if we could, but she also made a video for the class and it was a writing assessment on the steps on how to make them... so we was lucky to have everything on hand to try and make these cookies..... food coloring is something I don’t keep on hand bc I don’t like cooking or baking with it, but I was very lucky to find some hiding in the back of my cabinet. He was excited that we could make these and add pictures to his assessment slide show he had to do if we made them.I love earthly things, we do things all year not just on earth day /earth earth week. These cookies been a family recipe for years ...its a very easy recipe and the out come is deliciously good ..makes about 45 - 65 cookies depending on the size of your cookies ! Hope you enjoy

I changed it at little to suit Japanese tastes.Hardening the cut-out cookies in the freezer before baking ensures that the edges stay well-defined and that the cookies don't break while cooking.
