Ingredients

  1. 250 gramsMethi Leaves
  2. 1Onion (Chopped)
  3. 1Tomato (Chopped)
  4. 2-3Garlic Cloves (Chopped)
  5. 1 tspRed Chilli Powder
  6. 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1/2 tspMustard Seeds
  9. 1/2 CupMoong Dal (Soaked)

Cooking Instructions

    Take methi leaves and properly wash them with water.

    Wash soaked moong dal well with water.

  3. 3

    Chop onion,tomato and garlic cloves.

  4. 4

    Heat up oil in a kadhai,add mustard seeds and let them crackle.

  5. 5

    Now add chopped onion, garlic cloves and cook them well. Now add tomato, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix everything well.

    Now add soaked moong dal,methi leaves and mix well.Cover the lid and cook it for 10-15 minutes on low flame.Dal Methi is ready.Serve hot.
