Roasted Seeds and a perfect accompaniment for a healthy Snacking idea by me. 2 ingredients simple yet filling recipe for your little one's. This one is sure to impress them and make them go for it on any day. The best part is that it can be stored in airtight containers and enjoyed as needed. I have used Omani Dates for this. You can use any variety of them that are easily available to you.
This can be a great option for everyday Snacking. An afterschool quick munchie or a super delicious and a healthy Brunch on a weekend as well. The list is endless.
I usually pack these in their Lunchboxes too so that they can have them during the short break. And it's perfectly okay to eat these on a daily basis as the growing children needs lots of nutritional goodness in their diet.
Sesame Seeds are a real treat for your tastebuds. And i have made use of both the White and Black one's in this recipe. These are rich in Calcium and Magnesium both of which help our bones grow healthy and stong. What better than these for a balanced diet. There are many amazing benefits of these with no doubt at all and when in combo with Dates, it becomes a super hit idea. Kids and adults both would love this innovative simple try by me.

Cooking Instructions

First of all, roast the seeds on a low heat for that perfect crunch. Keep stirring as and when needed and keep a watchful eye on them. After done, set aside to cool. Here I have used pre roasted one's in case of white sesame. Therefore I roasted only black one's.

Wash and deseed all the dates next. Stuff each one of it with a few sesame seeds that can be easily placed in the centre of each date. I have used both white and black seeds in this

That's it. As easy as that. And serve immediately or store for any day use. These can be stored and relished on a day to day basis. Kids will love it for sure. Enjoy!
