5 servings

  3. 2 tablespoonPoppy Seeds

  5. 1/2 tablespoonCardamom Powder

Cooking Instructions

10 minutes
  1. 1

Remove the seeds form dates and just pulse it in mixer.

  2. 2

Dry roast poppy seeds and keep it aside.

  3. 3

Now add one tablespoon ghee in a heated pan and fry all the dry fruits (Here I have used cashew, almonds and pistachios) for 1 minute and keep it aside.

  4. 4

In that pan heat 1 tablespoon ghee and add the ground dates. Keep the flame medium - low. It will take 3-4 minutes to get the proper texture of the date. After 4 minutes the dates will become soft and pulpy.

  5. 5

Now add the fried dry fruits along with cardamom powder and roasted poppy seeds. Mix till everything incorporates well. It will take around 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

Now switch off the flame and remove it from the pan. When it turns slightly warm make a roll out of it.

  7. 7

Wrap the roll by using a foil paper and refrigerate it for two hours.

  8. 8

Now remove the roll and by using a sharp knife cut it into 2 inch thick pieces.

  9. 9

Your delicious Date roll is ready to serve.
