A loaf of Bread
After my first attempt with the wholemeal bread, I was excited about baking this. The outcome reminded me of going to 84East in Downtown Holland, MI where they give you this freshly baked loaf of bread with some garlic butter after you got seated. This recipe is a relatively easy loaf of bread to bake. The outcome was delicious! The bread had a very light crust and it was really soft on the inside. Perfectly baked and the taste was great. I am definitely going to make this more often. It wasn't just easy to bake, but very tasty :) YUM YUM! My measurements did not yield the same amount as my wholemeal bread (lasted for a week), this loaf lasted for a couple of days :)

Pound Cake
I searched far and wide for a pound cake recipe and ended up with this one because of one ingredient - CREAM CHEESE! That made it stand out from other recipes that I looked at. So I decided to go with the unique one! This is taken from the Better Homes and Garden (May 2009 isue). It was my first time baking a pound cake at home, and I was impressed by the outcome. YAY! I was excited and nervous as I waited for the cake to be done. It felt like forever, but once I took a bite, it was perfect! :) If you have another recipe that you have tried, pass it on :)

Soft Roti/ Flat Bread or no yeast no oven Pita Bread
I love rotis made of whey water or buttermilk kneaded with flour. So here's a Pita bread with no yeast but made with baking soda and whey waterMy Granny in Nepali language used to call it Bhuke roti means something which is swollen up as the roti used to swell up and become soft, she sometimes used to make it with sourdough also because earlier yeast was not readily available as it is now.....but as later on we grew and started going places and internet started ....came to know almost the same kind of bread is called Pita bread somewhere else.#ilovecooking

Shakkarpara
Shakkarpara is a tasty snack loved by kids as it is sweet. It is made with all purpose flour, sugar and butter. Use of butter makes it really crispy and flaky. It goes really well with a cup of tea or coffee. This is my mother's recipe which makes perfect shakkarpara every time I make it. My mother used to make this delicious snack when I was a child as in those days it was difficult to find ready made snacks compared to present day. I have grown up eating homemade snacks so even today I prefer to make all dry snacks at home only. Even my kids like home made snacks only.#mychildhoodrecipe#cookpadindia

2 Minute Chocolate Cake
First post !! I thought of posting something which is very close to my heart (because it's time saving) My oven at home is not a conventional one. So this recipe is my personal favourite. It only takes 2 MINUTES in an ordinary microwave oven! ! This recipe came rushing to my mind because it's my family favourite, and one of the recipes which always turns into a successful dish.. Just two minutes for an easy peasy cake, which looks like a bakery bought cake!! Trust me, the best combination with this is vanilla icecream. The icecream melts on top of the cake and... umm.. my mouth is watering by now.. So try it today itself. You can use cocoa powder instead of hot chocolate powder. All the ingredients are easily available at everyone's home !! 'As long as you know to bake , Life is sure to be sweet! !'So , happy baking! !!
