Stir-fry vegetables are a popular dish in Japan, and its staple ingredients are green cabbage, bean sprouts, onions, carrots, and a protein such as thinly sliced pork. The Japanese stir-fry vegetables' flavor profiles are versatile, so I chose a gochujang for our savory sweet seasoning sauce :-)

Stir-fry vegetables are a popular dish in Japan, and its staple ingredients are green cabbage, bean sprouts, onions, carrots, and a protein such as thinly sliced pork. The Japanese stir-fry vegetables' flavor profiles are versatile, so I chose a gochujang for our savory sweet seasoning sauce :-)

Combine pork/sake/soy sauce/potato starch and rub these well

Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside

Oil in a nonstick stir fry pan/wok over medium heat.

NOTE: for regular pans, heat to medium high.

Add garlic and cook until its fragrant.

Add the meat and cook until almost heated through.

Add carrots and onions, and cook until almost heated through

Add cabbage/sprouts and cook until the cabbage starts wilts

prevent releasing too much water after tossing with sauce.

Add sauce mix and toss to combine.

Taste, season with salt and pepper as needed. Serve.
コツ・ポイント
Stir-fry vegetables should have a crunch, so add tough/thick vegetables first which take longer to cook.
