Poor Boys Basic Bread Poor Boys Basic Bread
After making my "Poor Boys Cornbread" I thought, why not try a basic bread? Like my cornbread recipe, this is not going to be the tastiest bread you have ever eaten. It will be the most basic bread recipe you can find, requiring the least and most basic ingredients.Note: Makes a decent biscuit substitute in sausage gravy. Tom Barnard -

Poor Boys Cornbread Poor Boys Cornbread
This is the most basic and easy cornbread recipe I know. I am often out of milk and eggs, but want some cornbread. Being a hillbilly, there is no place for sugar in my cornbread! I looked online for some simple recipes, but everyone wanted to make things complicated. I like to keep it simple. This may not be the tastiest cornbread recipe, but It is probably the easiest you will find.If you want to make it even tastier, add about 1/2 a can of corn to the mix. Tom Barnard
