Shiitake Mushrooms Sautéed with Butter and Soy Sauce

I like shiitake mushrooms and have been making this for ages.

The mushrooms in the top photo are quite small. They shrink when cooked so choose thick mushrooms for a better taste.
Don't over-fry them.
You can use vegetable oil instead of butter if you like. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 10Shiitake mushrooms
  2. 1 dashGarlic soy sauce or soy sauce
  3. 10 gramsButter
  4. 1Shichimi seasoning

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Remove the stems from the shiitake and make small criss-crosses in the surfaces.

  2. 2

    Heat a frying pan, add the butter and the shiitake and fry them on both sides. Finally, add the soy sauce and stir-fry quickly.

    Transfer them to a serving plate and season with shichimi spice.
