Ingredients

  1. 720 gramsPlain flour
  2. 180 gramsSugar
  3. 180 gramsButter
  4. 6Egg yolk
  5. 180 mlMilk
  6. 1Vanilla extract
  7. 500 gramsPowdered sugar
  8. 1Water (for the icing)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Download a picture of the QR code you will be making. Color and design it using an image processing software.

  2. 2

Bring the butter to room temperature to soften.

  3. 3

Whip the butter with a whisk until pale.

  4. 4

    Add the sugar and cream.

  5. 5

Gradually add in the egg yolk.

  6. 6

Add the flour and knead it all together.

  7. 7

Cover with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator.

  8. 8

Once the dough has hardened, divide it into 5 portions. Cover each portion with plastic wrap and roll it out with a rolling pin.

  9. 9

Use a ruler to cut out 2 cm squares.

  10. 10

Bake in a 180°C oven for 15 minutes.

  11. 11

Dissolve the powdered sugar in water to make the icing. (Use food coloring to color the icing.) Once the cookies have cooled, coat with the icing.

  12. 12

After spreading on the icing, let them dry for half to a whole day.

  13. 13

Arrange the cookies to match the QR diagram and you're done.
