Fig and dates smoothie

This smoothie is sugar free and is perfect way to curb your hunger especially during fasting as it will keep you full. I love how it tastes and I am sure you will too!
It contains no Ice cream but this milkshake still turns out rich and creamy. Combining dates and figs into this thick and filling smoothie is the best thing that you could do to yourself. If you plan on making it for suhoor, remember to soak the dates, figs, nuts and seeds overnight. For iftar just soak for a few hours.
I find it most satisfying as a thick smoothie, but feel free to play with proportions until it fits your preference!

Ingredients

10 minutes
2 servings
  1. 4dried figs
  2. 4dates, pitted
  3. 1 tbsp.raisins
  4. 1 tbsp.chia seeds
  5. 1 tbsp.sesame seeds
  6. 1 tsp.almond
  7. 1 tsp.cashews
  8. 1 tsp.walnuts
  9. 1banana
  10. 1 cupmilk
  11. 4ice cubes

Cooking Instructions

    In bowl soak nuts, seeds, fig and dates overnight.

    Add the soaked mixture to a blender and blend till smooth

  3. 3

    Add milk and banana and ice. Blend to desired consistency.
    Serve.
