This recipe was inspired by kikifoodies on Instagram. I had a pack of sausage laying in my fridge and so i decided to make something to snack on while I relax after a long day. I stepped this down with freshly made watermelon juice.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 4sausage links
  2. 1 CupFlour
  3. 2 TeaspoonBaking Powder
  4. 1/2 TeaspoonSalt
  5. 1 TablespoonSugar
  6. 1Egg
  7. 3/4 TeaspoonChilli pepper
  8. 1/2 CupMilk
  9. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Dice the sausages into 5 pieces each and insert a toothpick in each. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and chilli pepper in a bowl. Add milk and egg.

    Mix to combine. Lightly dust the sausage sticks in flour. This is to make the batter stick properly. Heat up some oil for frying. Dip the sausage stick into the batter to coat, continue this process until you exhaust all the sausages and batter.

    Fry until golden brown. Strain on a kitchen towel and serve.
