Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1small size water yam
  2. 2fresh pepper
  3. 1medium onion
  4. to taste Salt
  5. 1knorr cube
  6. Vegetable oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the back of your water yam and wash

  2. 2

    Use grater and grate your wateryam using the smaller side of your grate. Once you are done,

    Add your dice pepper, onion, salt and knorr cube mix everything together and let it rest for 10 minutes or you can start frying immediately

  4. 4

    Heat up enough vegetable oil and once it’s hot, use a small spoon to scope puff puff size of your yam batter into your hot oil and allow it fry

  5. 5

    Once the outside is golden brown, remove from heat and place inside a drainer or paper towel

  6. 6

    Serve with ketchup or meyochop, I usually make my own sour cream dip for this and it taste really yum
