I love the combination of shio-koji and okra. I also love wasabi.
So, I tried combining them and it was delicious.

Adjust the amounts of shio-koji and wasabi to taste.
You can also boil the okra.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 5Okra
  2. 1/2 tspShio-koji (salt fermented rice malt)
  3. 1cm Wasabi paste (tubed)
  4. Optional
  5. 1Sesame, nori, bonito flakes, etc

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the okra and remove the hard parts. Wrap in plastic wrap and microwave at 500 W for about 20 seconds. (Be careful not to let it explode!)

    Combine the shio-koji and wasabi in a bowl, and dissolve the wasabi well.

  3. 3

    Cut the okra into easy-to-eat pieces, add to the bowl from Step 2, and mix well to finish. Top with sesame, nori, bonito flakes, and such to taste.
