Being that I majored in math... I realised that cooking is like math, the more you practice the more you get better I.e the more you cook the better you get.....So my daughter is having her graduation party, I wanted to make something exciting to share with her friends and I came up with this fancy cookies
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix sugar+butter+eggs +flavor till well mixed.
- 2
Add flour + baking powder and salt. Then pour in the above batter and mix into a dough...keep in fridge for 1 hour
- 3
Flour your working surface and roll the dough and cut into desired shape
- 4
Preheat oven for 10 min on moderate heat and bake for 10-13 min
- 5
I was able to get like 50 pieces of cookies💃🏻💃🏻
- 6
For the royal icing place the egg white on a double boiler(placing a pot with water on low heat, then place another pan with the egg white inside the pot of water), whisk the eggs till it gets warm, then you are done.(Essence of puting the eggs on a double boiler is to suppress that raw taste of eggs and it is also safer to eat)
- 7
Then in a mixer add powdered sugar+ egg white + cinnamon and mix till light and fluffy
- 8
Then portioned into 3 colours
- 9
If you are not using immediately then cover with plastic, let the plastic touch the surface of the icing to prevent drying till ready to use
- 10
When your cookies are completely cool then use kitchen brush and apply your icing using different colors and designs, I use sprinkles also
- 11
So delish🤗

Cookie Bouquet Icing Cookie Bouquet Icing
Cookie bouquets are pretty well-known in the U.S., but not really popular in Japan yet. You'll lose track of time thinking about what designs and colors to use.In summer, cookie dough has a tendency to become soft easily and is hard to handle. Once cutting out the shapes, return the dough to the freezer for a bit, and stick them on the egg-coated skewers once hardened. Recipe by Nemunemugorichan cookpad.japan -

Halloween Cookies Halloween Cookies
I drew fun Halloween characters using icing! By using specially shaped cookie cutters you can make even more designs. I hope you'll make a lot of these cookies!Watch the consistency of the icing. For drawing outlines and letters it should be on the stiff side, and to spread out over a large area it should be on the loose side. When thinning out the icing, try adding a drop of lemon juice. For about 20-25 black and white cookies, each one 5 cm [2.0 in] big. Recipe by Choco makaron cookpad.japan -

Almond Sugee Cookies Almond Sugee Cookies
One of my regular customers requested this. I honestly never seen or heard about these cookies before, so I took up the challenge and made her some of these cookies. She even gave a recipe to follow. I sorta added a few elements of my own to the recipes and this is what I came up with. You must be wondering what kinda Chinese I am. Haha! I remember when I was a kid and couldn't even read any Chinese characters, my friends will make fun of me, "what are you?" Anyway, these cookies really have that melt in your mouth sensation. But the trick (or rather like any cookies) is to eat these warm. If they are left at room temperature for a while, the soft interior will tend to dry out.To my surprise, these cookies are 100% vegan! Yes, dairy-free and eggless! After making these, I was kinda in a dilemma; almond sugee cookies or amaretti biscuits? One is vegan while the other is gluten-free. Both have almonds and tasty AF. Either way, I shall let you be the judge. Here I wish all the Chinese lovely people a very Happy Lunar New Year! Daniel Lim
