Easiest spaghetti bolognese Easiest spaghetti bolognese
This recipe is a throwback to my earliest days cooking, when bolognese meant regular ground beef, canned tomato sauce, stale dried herbs and garlic powder. This version is fancied up a little, but remains pretty similar and very simple. I like to use a lean beef/pork blend, to add a little extra unctuousness without adding a ton of fat. Robert Gonzal -
Shortcut Spaghetti Bolognese Shortcut Spaghetti Bolognese
I’ve tried a few versions of spag bol and this is my current favourite. Typical bolognese can take many hours for a full flavour. This has a few shortcuts but without the compromise to flavour. The soffritto is cooked using a microwave to save time and add lots of flavour for the final product. Grating the vegetables cuts down fine knife work and speeds it up further. Soy and fish sauces adds lots of depth of flavour.I use “Mutti” brand tomato paste and passata, and “DeCecco” for the pasta. Bolognese Sauce Bolognese Sauce
The sauce Alla Bolognese comes from the Emilia Romagna region, capital of Bologna in northeastern Italy. The original basis of the recipe is meat, vegetables and tomatoes. Another detail in the preparation of this sauce is the cooking on a very low heat, for a long time.It is a delicious exquisite sauce to accompany lasagna, fettuccine or tagliatelle pasta.
