Long-time family favorite. People rave about it, and in several instances, people were surprised that it had dates in it because they claim they don't like date cake, but loved this cake. The feature taste is more so the crispy brown sugar, chocolatey nut topping. The flavor of the dates is secondary but gives it that unique flavor – sending this cake to over-the-top deliciousness!
