Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the grains and spread it on a tray or drying mat or rack, let the water drain for some minutes.
Don't let it dry all. Add it your spices and grind it into a fine powder, - 2
Use your sieve and sieve it, to get the clean, smooth powder, do not discard the charp, keep it for your next batch of grinding you can add it together.
- 3
Wash 3tblespoon Millet grain add to a pot with water, and bring to a boil, until it's cooked, but I add small quantity of rice too, is optional.
- 4
Portion the powder in to two, mix one with water and the other with yogurt or tamarind water.
- 5
Pour the boiling water over the already paste mixed with water, stire quickly and be careful not to add to much water,
- 6
Let it cool for 3-4mins then stir in the paste mixed with tamarind water or yogurt.
Mix well and add sugar to your taste. - 7
Your modom is ready
Serve warm or cool. - 8
NOTE, don't use the yogurt directly from the fridge, keep it over the counter until is at room temperature. If not you won't like the consistency of your pap.
Sock your tamarind hours before cooking the pap, so as to get a clean tamarind water not red.
You can add spices like cardamom, black pepper, etc.
It's taste wow when it's spicy.

Apple Compote with Red Wine Apple Compote with Red Wine
I wanted to use apples to make a healthy snack. I only used the minimum amount of sugar to reduce sweetness and added a hint of spices to suit my own taste.Simmered apples are delicate, so treat them with care when you're taking them out. You can make them nicely with leftover wine.*Jonathan apples cook quite fast. Please adjust the cooking time to your desired toughness of the apples. I personally simmer mine for a long time, since I really dislike the crunchy texture of the apples. For a manageable amount. Recipe by Setsubunhijiki cookpad.japan -

Millet Bagels Millet Bagels
There are lots of bagel recipes that contain cereal grains, but I hadn't seen one with millet. I love the appearance of the yellow millet, and the way the texture pops when I bite in is so much fun.You can omit Steps 3-5, and instead flatten the dough, punching a hole with your fingers and rotating to widen it as you might when making a doughnut. The millet may fall out of the dough when you are shaping it, so just press it back into the bagel after you are done shaping it, and it will stick in.
