Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 cupspuffed rice (about 60 grams)
  2. 1boiled potato, cut into small cubes
  3. 1onion, finely chopped
  4. 1/3 cupcucumber, chopped (about 50 grams)
  5. 1/3 cuptomato, chopped (about 50 grams)
  6. 1/4 cuproasted peanuts (about 35 grams)
  7. 1/4 cupsev (about 15 grams)
  8. 2 tablespoonschopped cilantro
  9. 2green chilies, finely chopped (use mild chilies)
  10. 1/2 inchpiece ginger, finely chopped or grated
  11. 1 teaspoonKashmiri red chili powder
  12. 1/4 teaspoonchaat masala
  13. 1/4 teaspoonroasted cumin powder
  14. 1/4 teaspoonamchur (dried mango) powder
  15. 1 teaspoonlemon juice or tamarind paste
  16. 1-2 teaspoonsmustard oil
  17. Black salt, to taste

Cooking Instructions

    If your puffed rice isn't crispy, dry roast it first. Also, dry roast the peanuts. Prepare the boiled potato, cucumber, onion, tomato, cilantro, green chilies, and ginger by chopping them.

    In a large mixing bowl, add the puffed rice and mix in the boiled potato and cucumber.
