Slow Cooker Butternut Squash Soup

Ingredients

2-4 ppl
  1. 6 cupsbutternut squash peeled and cubed
  2. 1large apple, peeled and cubed
  3. 1/2 cupchopped onion
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1/8 tspground Cheyenne pepper
  6. 1 1/4 cupchicken broth
  7. 1/2 cupheavy whipping cream

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Pour all ingredients into slow cooker except the heavy whipping cream.

  2. 2

    Cook on high for 5 hours. Then pour mixture into blender and blend until smooth.

  3. 3

    Pour blended mixture back into slow cooker. Add heavy whipping cream, and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
