Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the ingredients by measuring them with a digital scale. Break the graham crackers in half (not too small, to retain texture) and tear the marshmallows in half.
- 2
Add the freeze-dried strawberries, cocoa powder, milk powder, and salt in sequence, then mix well.
- 3
Prepare a non-stick pan, turn to low heat, and add the butter. Once melted, add the marshmallows (if you're worried about sticking, use a double boiler to prevent burning). If you want to keep some texture, don't fully melt the marshmallows.
- 4
Turn off the heat and add the mixed ingredients. Stir everything together with the marshmallows until well combined.
- 5
Prepare a metal tray lined with parchment paper, pour in the nougat mixture, and shape it using a rolling pin and a rice paddle.
- 6
Evenly dust with cocoa powder and milk powder (on both sides), then let it cool.
- 7
Finally, cut into even pieces and package.

I love white chocolate, it really enhances the color of whatever it's mixed with. I usually mix it with orange peel, but this time I used strawberries with Valentine's Day in mind. You can substitute dried cranberries for the dried strawberries for their pretty red color (use the soft type of dried fruit, not the hard freeze dried type).Try using cornflakes or fruit granola instead of the graham crackers, for a different yet tasty texture. For 3 bars. Recipe by Cake to pan no sensei cookpad.japan -
