  4. 6 oz.Raspberries
  5. RASPBERRY BOURBON LEMONADE:
  6. 6 oz.Frozen lemonade concentrate
  7. 1/2 c.Lime juice, fresh squeezed (took me 3½, with ½ left for garnish)
  8. 1-1/2 c.Water

  10. FINISH & GARNISH:
  11. Sprite (or any lemon-lime soda)
  12. sliceLemon and/or lime
  13. Raspberries

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Combine the simple syrup ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally and smashing berries with the back of spoon. Using a fine mesh strainer over a bowl or measuring cup, pour the syrup to strain out the seeds. Cool completely.

  2. 2

Combine the simple syrup and the raspberry bourbon lemonade ingredients in a large pitcher. Mix well and add about 2 cups of ice.

  3. 3

Add ice to a tall highball glass. Pour in the raspberry bourbon lemonade to 1 inch or so from the top. Add the lemon-lime soda and stir gently. Garnish and enjoy!

My 5 siblings and I were raised in the 1950s and 60s midwest by a major foodie dad who was a great cook. We all learned to cook at a young age. I love to cook for my 2 daughters, 7 grandkids, 8 great-grandkids, and extended family. My 4 year old great-grandson makes my day when he says "Nan sure is a good cooker!". :-). I'm trying to get all my favorite recipes saved here so my family and friends all have easy access to them even after I'm gone. My Cookpad collection is their inheritance, so I try to add my comments and memories to each recipe; that way they'll remember me with a smile when they use the recipes years from now. Recently I've called on my grandkids (all adults and avid cooks) to send me their own favorite recipes, with their prep photos, so we can collect everyone's favorites together in one place.
