Cooking Instructions

Bring the butter and eggs to room temperature, and beat the eggs. Grease the pan with extra butter and line it with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix the butter until creamy. Gradually add the sugar in 4-5 parts, mixing until it becomes pale each time.

Once the butter is light, add the eggs in 4-5 parts, mixing well each time to prevent separation.

Sift together the dry ingredients and add them to the bowl from step 3. Mix thoroughly with a rubber spatula.

Pour the batter into the pan, tap it on the counter a few times to remove air bubbles. Use a spatula to create a shallow groove about 1/2 inch deep in the center.

Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C) and bake for about 35 minutes. Since ovens vary, start checking around 25 minutes and adjust as needed.

Once baked, drop the pan from a height of about 6 inches to release hot air, then remove the cake from the pan and let it cool.
