Ingredients

  1. Long grain rice
  2. Grated pepper and onion
  3. Tomato paste
  4. Oil
  5. Seasonings and spices
  6. Sliced scallion
  7. Butter

Cooking Instructions

    Parboil rice, strive and set aside.

  2. 2

    Bring oil to medium heat, add grinded pepper and onion and tomato paste, stir and leave it to simmer for five mins (I add pinch of baking powder to reduce the salty taste of tomato paste).

    Add seasonings and spices (Curry is a must) and stir.

  4. 4

    Add two cups of boiling water and parboiled rice, stir well and leave it to simmer in medium heat for 15 mins

    When it's done, switch off the heat and add sliced scallion and butter, stir and cover it for 5 mins

  6. 6

    Served with fried fish. Enjoy 😋
