Ingredients

  1. 3medium beetroot thinly sliced
  2. 1medium onion
  3. 2 clovesgarlic
  4. 1medium potato
  5. 2medium carrot
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  8. 1large tomato
  9. 1 tbspfresh cream
  10. 2 tbspbutter

Cooking Instructions

    Heat butter in a deep non-stick pan.Add chopped onion & garlic to the pan & saute.

    Then add thinly sliced carrot & potato.Add salt,black pepper powder & stir.Cover & cook forn2-3 mints.

    Add beetroot & 3 cups water.Cover & cook till the vegetables are almost done.

    Add chopped tomato.Strain the vegetables.Allow to cool.Blend into a smooth puree adding a little.cold water.

    Transfer the puree back into the pan, add the strained cooking liquid & mix well.

  6. 6

    Heat the soupThen pour it into a soup bowl,garnish with cream & serve hot.
