Ingredients

  1. 1 cupfresh Fenugreek leaves cleaned,
  2. 1/2 cupGreen Peas, boiled
  3. 2 tbsp.Ghee
  4. 1-2cinnamon stick
  5. 1 tsp.Cumin Seeds
  6. 1 tbsp.Ginger,
  7. 1 cupboiled Onion paste
  8. 1 tbsp.Roasted Gram Flour / besan
  9. 1 cupboiled Cashewnut Paste
  10. 1 cupWater 1 cup Fresh cream
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. as neededtomato flower, garam masala powder to garnish

Cooking Instructions

15 minutes
  1. 1

    First blanch the Fenugreek leaves and refresh with water.drain and keep aside.

    Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, 1-2 cinnamon stick, chopped ginger- and stir for 30-40 seconds. - Add roasted gram flour and cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes.

    Add boiled onion paste,. - Add boiled cashew nut paste and cook for a minute on medium flame. - Then add water with Fresh cream and mix well..Add fenugreek, and simmer on low flame for 30-40 seconds.

    Now add the Green Peas, boiled salt. - Mix well..

    Simmer for 2 minutes.. Methi Matar Malai is ready to serve.
