Cooking Instructions

Put 2 cups of water into a pot & put on heat bring to boil then in a bowl add 1 cup of semo & 1 cup of water stir very well to avoid lumps the paste is called (talge) in hausa. Then you add it to the boiling water gently while stiring untill well combine then close the pot & allow to cook for 15 mins then you add the remaining 1 & 1/2cup of semo & keep stiring untill smooth then close the pot & allow to steam for 5 mins then you stir again.

You cut your leather vertically on one side & add tuwo inside as you can see in the picture 1 serving spoon at a time or as you desire then you tie the leather & put inside a cooler. I serve mine with okro soup you can serve it with any soup of your choice😋😋
