Simple Hamburgers using Spring Cabbage

I received lots of spring cabbage, so I added them to hamburgers!

Make sure to drain out the water from the spring cabbage very well. Finely chop the onions and add them raw. When the hamburgers have finished cooking, it's fine if there's a lot of leftover water. Recipe by yukicyama

Ingredients

10 servings
  1. 500 grams♡ Ground beef and pork mix
  2. 220 gramsSpring cabbage
  3. 110 gramsOnion
  4. 2♡ Eggs
  5. 1 tbsp♡ Katakuriko
  6. 15 grams♡ Panko
  7. 1 tbsp♡ Dashida
  8. 1 dashless than a teaspoon ♡ Salt
  9. 1 tspSalt (for the spring cabbage)
  10. 1Vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

    Finely chop the onions and cabbage, add the chopped cabbage into a bowl and rub with salt until it wilts, rinse in water, and squeeze thoroughly.

    In a bowl, mix the ♡ ingredients and knead together. Once it has clumped together, add cabbages, and knead more.

    Remove the excess air from 2, and mold into patties. Shown above are six 100 g patties, and 8 stuffed green peppers. Using a sieve, sift flour over the stuffed peppers.

    Add vegetable to a pan over medium low heat, add the patties, cover with a lid, cook for 2 minutes, flip over and cover with plenty of water. Cover with a lid again and cook for another 5 minutes.

    Grill the stuffed peppers for 13-14 minutes over medium heat (cook on both sides).
