This is an aesthetically pleasing and refreshing summer drink.

I dreamt of being able to eat my favorite seasonal fruit, peaches, at any time, so I made this.I made this quite lightly sweet, so please use 1.5 times the amount of granulated sugar called for if you it to be sweeter.If you make this with just 1 peach use 1/4 of all the other ingredients, and use a small pan so that the peaches won't get burned on the bottom of a larger pan. Refreshing drink in summer

It's the summer time and I wanted to do something different and fun for the kids. They say it's a winner.

So easy a 3 year old can make it! That's right! My 3 year old son has discovered he loves lemonade and he was begging to make some after watching it get made on one of his favorite TV shows. So, we made some for ourselves and it is refreshing and delicious!This really is a great simple recipe for teaching basic skills like measuring pouring, stirring, and even cutting (for older children).

I was looking for a blended drink recipe so I didn't have to walk all the way into town to get the hippies to blend me one for $6. I came across a similar one to this on a website and I modified it slightly.

I used some bruised peaches to make compote. You can eat it plain, but I also recommend using it to make tarts or jelly. Here are the peach compote pieces with yogurt in a different dessert recipe.-In Step 2, if your peaches are soft, be careful not to simmer them for too long.-If you're making a lot at once, you can boil the peaches whole. If boiling whole, extend the boiling time a little. If you want to store the compote for a longer time, increase the amount of sugar and store in a sterilized jar.
