I wanted to have a luxury fancy steak dinner. So decided to try making it at home. It was my first attempt. It tasted good, flavourful but cooking steak is difficult. Needs practice.

  1. 1/2 kgbeef steak
  2. 1 tspmeat tenderizer
  3. 1 tsppaprika
  4. 1 tspBlack pepper
  5. 1/4 tspwhite pepper
  6. 1 tspGinger garlic
  7. 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 1 tbspvinegar
  9. For creamy peppercorn sauce
  10. 1.5 tbsppeppercorns
  11. 1 tbspbutter
  12. 1 small onion chopped
  13. 3 clovesgarlic
  14. 200 mlBeef or chicken stock
  15. 120 mldouble cream
  16. 1 tspcornflour
  17. For vegetables side
  18. 1carrot
  19. 1courgette
  20. 1big potato
  21. 1/2 cuppeas
  22. 1/2 cupcorns
  23. 1onion
  24. 1 tspsalt
  25. 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  26. 1 tsporegano
  27. 1 tbspolive oil

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate the beef steak with the mentioned spices and leave it for good 4-5 hours.

    Grease the pan with butter, put steak in it. Cook each side for 3 mins if you want medium well steak.

    For vegetables. Cut the vegetables add salt black pepper 1 tbsp olive oil and bake for 15 mins at 180 degrees Celsius

    For peppercorn sauce. In a pan, take a little bit of oil, saute onion and garlic, when it becomes soft, add stock. After 2 mins add cream. Keep stirring. Sometimes it gets thick on its own otherwise add 1 tsp corn flour mixed with water to thicken it.
