Babugosha (Indian Pear) is a sweet and very tasty fruit. The skin of this fruit is light green in color and the inside is light cream in color. Babugosha is best seen in the monsoon season. Many dishes can be prepared using this Babugosha. I have made salsa today using Babugosha which turns out to be very tasty.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the Babugosha with clean water and cut it into medium size pieces. Prepare pomegranate seeds and chopped onion.
- 2
Prepare chopped mint leaves, chopped coriander and chopped green chillies.
- 3
Take onions in a big bowl, add pomegranate seeds, coriander and mint leaves to it and mash a little with your hands. Then add Babogosha pieces and chopped green chillies.
- 4
Add pepper powder, coriander, pink salt, green herb, salt to taste and lemon juice and mix everything well so that Spicy Pear Salsa is ready to serve.
- 5
This salsa can be served with nachos chips or potato chips.
