Reminds me of squid/ calamari from San Sebastián

Ingredients

4 portion
  1. 2full squids (500g)
  2. Plain flour (200g)
  3. Semolina (200g)
  4. 1green chilli
  5. 3spring onions
  6. 1/2a lemon
  7. 500 mlvegetable oil
  8. 1 tablespoonshaoxing wine
  9. 1/2 tablespoonsesame oil
  10. to tasteSalt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare the squid by removing all the body and guts

  2. 2

    Slice into bite size pieces and marinade in sesame oil and shaoxing wine

  3. 3

    Roll squid in flour and semolina

  4. 4

    Heat oil in pan and then add squid for 2mins, dry squid in paper towels

  5. 5

    Chop chilli and spring onions. Lemon, salt and pepper to taste.
