This is so simple and works with almost all casseroles: this time ‘twas one of our favourites, my Creamy Pig’s Cheeks and Assorted Alliums Casserole. I always make a generous amount of sauce and ample vegetables. So there’s often leftover sauce and vegetables, even if no meat. Seasoning shouldn’t be needed. #WastenotWantnot

    Whizz everything in a blender.

    Reheat and serve piping hot with your choice of bread.
