Ingredients

28-32 mahamris
  1. 3 CupsFlour
  2. 1/2 CupSugar
  3. 1 TbspYeast
  4. 1/4 TspCardamon Powder
  5. 1 TbspOil /Ghee (for kneading - mixing the flour)
  6. 3/4 CupCoconut Milk Powder (I used KARA) Or you can use the Cream -Tui heavy
  7. 1 1/4 CupWater
  8. Oil for Frying

Cooking Instructions

    Add everything in a bowl except water.

  2. 2

    Mix them together for a few minutes then start adding water.

  3. 3

    Knead until the dough is nice and soft, about 10mins.

    Cut into 7- 8 pieces and shape into balls

  5. 5

    Cover and let rise.

  6. 6

    After rising, roll out each ball like chapati not too thin and cut into 4 quarters.

    In a karai or pot add the oil for frying and place on medium heat.

    When the oil is hot add the quarter and start frying one side and flip to the other side, remove from heat when its golden brown.

    Enjoy with tea/ Coffee or mbaazi/coconut beans!
