Interesting egg is added. Have loved rice pudding since I was a child. We have special rice here for making a pudding and it’s called pudding rice. It is distinct because it is a short-grain white rice variety specifically chosen for its high starch content, creating a creamy, thick texture when cooked, rather than fluffy or separate grains. I’m now craving it 🤤

Mmm Laura that sounds incredible !! That would be my choice rice then. I have been thinking about you the last few days wondering how you’ve been so I’m so glad to see you this morning! That’s the first time I’ve ever used an egg in it. I would normally add heavy cream but it’s difficult to find here so I was just wondering if the egg made a different texture. Ofc we know eggs are binding so it pulled it together more which was ok since I was craving it too 😃. The rice here is not as starchy as I would prefer so I only gave it one quick wash. Next time I will add some whiskey 😜. I hope you are doing well up there. Thank you for sharing ❤️🌷🌺
