I used to love a Snickers bar, but I can't eat them any more because of the dairy. This smoothie has the chocolate, caramel and nutty flavours of a Snickers bar, but with no refined sugar or additives. Which makes it at least a bit healthier! The frozen bananas give the smoothie a thick, ice cream milkshake texture, which I love topped with crushed peanuts and a few dark chocolate drops. #summerchallenge3

Ingredients

  1. 1frozen, sliced banana
  2. 240 mls (1 cup)almond milk
  3. 4pitted dates (or 2 large medjool dates)
  4. 2 tbspsmooth peanut butter
  5. 2 tspcocoa powder
  6. 1 tbsppeanuts and dark chocolate chips to garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until lovely and smooth.

    Pour into a glass and top with crushed peanuts and dark chocolate drops.
