Thaw the mixed seafood for salad, risotto, or spaghetti. If you’re making this for lunch, take it out of the freezer the night before and place it in the refrigerator. In the morning, open the package, drain, rinse, and place the seafood in a colander.

In a nonstick or ceramic-coated pot, heat some olive oil, anchovy paste, and the rinsed salt-packed capers. Add the finely chopped shallot. When the shallot softens, add the mixed seafood. Pour in the hot water.

Cover and cook over low heat, adding more hot water if needed. When the seafood is cooked, blanch the frozen shrimp in boiling water for 1 minute, then add them to the pot. Let everything simmer for a few minutes over low heat, then check for salt. Add some chopped parsley, taste, and adjust the salt if needed. Mix well.

Remove most of the seafood from the pot, leaving the cooking liquid behind.

Cook the lemon laganelle pasta in plenty of salted boiling water.

Drain the pasta and add it to the pan. Sauté for a few minutes. Add a bit of finely chopped parsley.

Add some of the reserved seafood back to the pan. Your Lemon Laganelle with Seafood is ready!
