Guntur Chilli Chicken Biryani

Marinate the chicken in a paste made from besan, chilli powder, turmeric, salt, garam masala. Let it rest for 10 mins.

In a pan Add ginger garlic paste, green chillies and saute.

Now add onions and after it browns a bit add the tomatoes. Cook till it turns mushy.

Add the marinated chicken to this. Add water and oil and let it cook until chicken gets soft. Keep frying until the masala thicken and sticks to the chicken we’ll.

In a cooker add water and the basmati rice. Add the dry spices. saffron milk can be added for extra taste.

Cover the cooker and let rice boil for 2 whistles. Don’t over cook rice. Fluff it up using a fork. Add the food colours (optional) to the top later of rice.

Add the cooked chicken masala to the boiled flavoured rice. Top with fried onion and coriander. Mix gently.

Serve hot Guntur chilli chicken biryani with raita and baingan Bharta
