Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupchopped Canadian bacon see my recipe or store bought
  2. 1 poundwhole green beans
  3. 1/4 cupdiced onion
  4. To tastesalt
  5. 1/3 stickbutter
  6. 1/3 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt the butter, add the onion. Sauté 3 minutes. Chop the Canadian bacon and add.

    After 10 minutes add the green beans and stir. Cover and allow to cook for 20 minutes. Add salt to taste.
