Soak the black gram and rajma for 7 hours.

Now boil the dal and rajma in cooker on high to low flame for 25 min.

When boil also add 1/2tbsp salt in it.

Now heat some oil in a pan,add asafoetida,bay leaf and bay leaf and green cardamom in it.

After a min add onion fry it till colour change golden brown.

Add tomatoesin it, after a min add salt,coriander powder red chilli,black pepperin it.

Fry it for 4min.

Add butter in it.

Now add boiled dal and rajma,mix it well,then add garam masala and malai in it.

Dal makhni is ready to serve.
